Lalu's rendezvous with Income Tax continues,now for mega rally

New Delhi: There is no end to the woes of Lalu Yadav as the Income Tax department seems too obsessed with him, further giving the RJD supremo sleepless nights. The latest in the series is the Income Tax notice slapped on him asking him to give details of money that he 'splurged' in the mega Patna Rally that was held on August 27.

The Income Tax department has asked the party to explain the expenses incurred in the 'BJP bhagao, desh bachao rally'. It was a huge rally and more than one lakh supporters attended the same making it a huge success a s claimed by the RJD and the Opposition party.

But social media was not kind and said that the images shared by RJD supremo was a morphed one. According to former Deputy CM  of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav aroun 30 lakh people attended the rally. Not long back the Income Tax department was questioning former Bihar CM Rabri Devi and her son Tejashwi Yadav in connection with benami assets probe against them and others in land deals worth Rs 1,000 crore.
