Last rites of war hero Arjan Singh to be performed tomorrow

New Delhi, Sep 17: 98-year-old Marshal of Air Force, Arjan Singh passed away on Saturday. Though mortal remains of Arjan Singh have been brought to his residence in Delhi, the last rites to be performed on Monday. 

National flag to fly half-mast on all buildings where flown. Last rights of the Marshal will take place at Barar Square, Delhi. A state funeral will be accorded to him.

An icon in the country's military history, Singh had led a fledgling IAF in the 1965 Indo-Pak war when he was just a 44-year-old.
