New Delhi, September 6: Lenovo is all set to launch a new smartphone for the Indian market this month. The company has sent out media invites for a launch event that is scheduled for October 16 in New Delhi. The company has not revealed the name of the smartphone but it consists of words 'The Killer Returns'. Tracking the history of the company, it is expected that the company will launch the Lenovo K8 Note successor and it has been more than a year that the company has launched a smartphone in India.
The last smartphone that was launched in Lenovo K Note lineup was K8 Note that was launched in August and the company usually calls the smartphone in the series as 'Killer Note' that is why the word 'The killer Returns' in the media invites hints at the new launch in K Note series smartphone.
The thing to note here is that Lenovo launched some other smartphones in the K series after K8 but none of them made their way to India and now the company is all set to launch the Lenovo Z5 Pro in China soon. It is expected that the company may launch a rebranded version of the smartphone in India at the event,
The smartphones in the K-Series fall in the mid-budget segment and if Lenovo launches the K8 Note successor then its price can be expected from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 range.
