LIVE:5 lakh by state, 5 lakh by Railways to families of deceased

New Delhi, 29 Sep: According to the latest news, there was a rumor about a short circuit and there was a panic among the commuters. Heavy rains led to a big chaos. And then the fatal stamped happened, killing 22 and many injured. The clustered exit lanes further worsened the situation due to the heavy rush.

In a sad incident in Mumbai's Elphinstone Railway station three have been dead in stampede. More tah 26 are reported to b injured, with some having fatal injuries. The incident took place at Elphinstone railway station's foot over bridge in Mumbai.  The real reason is still not clear, but according to the locals there are two exits at the station and tis has led to the stampede. The number of casualties are expected to go up.
