London: Singer Louis Tomlinson wants his son Freddie Reign to have a "normal" childhood and has requested the media to respect his privacy. Amid custody battle with the mother of his child Briana Jungwirth, the One Direction star has issued a statement in which he has slammed the paparazzi, reports aceshowbiz.com. In the statement released via his representative on Friday, Tomlinson said that he wanted Freddie to have "a normal, private and protected childhood," but "the levels of paparazzi attention on Freddie are intolerable and completely unjustifiable". According to the 24-year-old singer, paparazzi have been taking photographs of him and his son all the time, including during his visitation time with the baby and at doctor's appointments. "Louis appreciates, respects and values his relationship with the media and we hope he and his son are afforded the same respect on this matter," the statement added.
