Mark Zuckerberg pitches in for VR at World Mobile Congress

Barcelona: Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg paid a surprise visit to Samsung’s World Mobile Congress on Sunday in Barcelona and talked about virtual reality and Oculus technology that powers Samsung’s Gear VR.

Talking about the future of virtual reality, Zuckerberg said that, “VR is the next platform, where anyone can create and experience anything that they want.”

“VR is going to be the most social platform,” he said.

Zuckerberg said that Facebook with Oculus was committed to building the best VR experience in the world.

“We have only started to explore what’s possible with video in VR. As we work with Samsung to build this experience for Gear VR, we are also working to push the whole state of the technology together,” he added.

“The best is yet to come,” he concluded.
