New York: A massive winter storm has brought much of US to standstill, forcing the closure of roads, bridges and tunnels into New York until Sunday morning.
According to reports, fourteen people, from North Carolina to New York, have died in the storm.
"This is bad, and it's getting worse rapidly," New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said.
8 inches of snow reported in Redhouse, Maryland, by Saturday evening.
More than 21 inches fell at Newark Liberty International, more than 20 inches at JFK and LaGuardia.
In all, 20 states have been affected by the fierce storm.
Almost all flights into the New York city have been cancelled.
The Red Cross erected shelters along the highway for those left in the traffic jam.
