New Delhi, May 16: Xiaomi launching Mi 7 on May 23 is not yet clear but leaks and speculations about the phone have revealed much more than we wanted. In a latest Mi 7 cases have been surfaced online offering some insight into the Xiaomi flagship device.
Going by the images leaked, 3.5mm jack has become slimmer and you can find USB type-C which is much faster than usual Micro USB 2.0 and a dedicated technology to offer a face unlock technology similar to Apple's Face ID.
The bottom of the cases has also revealed the location of the speakers in Mi 7, while on the camera front we could get a vertical dual-camera setup. The right side space of the smartphone is reserved for volume control and power button.
If specifications are concerned and the leaks about the smartphone that have been surfaced online so far suggest that Mi 7 will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6GB RAM. Some leaks also suggest that we could also get a 8GB RAM model and we can expect Mi 7 in two variants, one with 64GB storage and the other with 128GB ROM.
The most significant leak so far has suggested that Mi 7 could have OLED display with iPhone X like notch, a 20MP selfie camera and a 3D face recognition feature.
While we are expecting Mi 7 in India but it seems unlikely considering that they never launched the Mi 6 here after debuting the Mi 5 in 2016.
