Mobile phone recovered at Pathankot air base; NIA to question Gurdaspur SP again

New Delhi: A mobile phone, an AK-47 magazine and a binocular were recovered from Pathankot airbase on Monday.

After a day of intensive questioning of the Gurdaspur SP Salwinder Singh at the headquarters of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in New Delhi, the investigators are set to question him again on Tuesday.

According to reports, NIA investigators in Punjab are also questioning Salwinder Singh’s friend Rajesh Verma and cook Madan Gopal in connection with the terror attack on Pathankot airbase on January 2.

Also, Madan Gopal will be called in for questioning at the NIA headquarters in New Delhi, date of questioning for which will be intimidated in due time.

Meanwhile, the central agency is issuing a ‘Black corner’ notice to the Interpol to establish identities of the slain terrorists.
