The film starring Greek God Hrithik Roshan has cracked a massive deal with selling off their satellite and music rights for 60 crores.
Produced by movie moghuls Ashutosh Gowarikar and Siddharth Roy Kapur, it is proclaimed to be one of the most expensive flicks in the history of Bollywood. Actor Hrithik Roshan is coming back after a two year hiatus and is looking ruggedly handsome with bulging biceps and curls caressing his forehead like the cool summer breeze.
Oscar winning composer A.R. Rahman has infused romance into the tunes of the movie and aligned them sublimely to match the timing of the film.
The movie, centering around a love story, will follow the discovery of the prehistoric city of Mohenjo-Daro. It will also exhibit the culture and the vibe of the time, with a rustic yet sophisticated feel. It is set in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation which dates back to 2600 BC. Shot in Gujarat and Mumbai, the movie will show Hrithik falling in love with Pooja Hegde who is his enemy's daughter.
“Before the British Raj, the Mughals, Christ, Alexander, Buddha and India as we know it, there was... Mohenjo Daro,” the motion poster reads.
The audience can expect to see references from ancient archaeological sites such as Dholavira against the backdrop of glowing, earthy colors. The magnanimity of the film is exhibited by Glen Boswell. He was the one who choreographed the Matrix and has been roped in to train Hrithik. There are power packed combat sequences showing Hrithik fighting a crocodile, a tiger and even two bulls in middle of a marketplace.
The movie is set to hit theatres on August 12.
