New Delhi: Sharad Navratri holy festival of Hindus which will start from 21st September which will end on 29th September. Navratri is Sanskrit word which means nine nights is celebrated for the victory of positivity over negativity.
Overall we have four Navratri in a year, Chaitra Navratri, Sharad Navratri, Magha Gupta Navratri and Ashadha Gupta Navratri. Out of which Sharad and Chaitra Navratri is celebrated widely and nine different incarnations of the Goddess are worshipped during nine nights.
Sharad Navratri which is also known as Maha Navratri begins on September 21 and its shubh mahurat starts at 11:36:10 am in the morning where devotees can do Kalash Sthapana and culminate on September 29. After the Navmi puja, Vijaya Dashmi will be celebrated on September 30.
