Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath has put the onus of stopping riots on the Muslims. Claiming that there has not been a single riot in his 111-day old government, Yogi said that as long as the minority community remains within limits, majority community will not be allowed to take law in their own hands. Yogi was speaking to News24 Editor-in-Chief Anurradha Prasad at the News24 mega conclave 'Manthan With Yogi' organised to analyse 100 days of Yogi government.
" If the minority community keeps calm there will no trouble. There will be no witch hunting against the Muslims, but my government will not indulge in minority appeasement," said Yogi.
Speaking on the Saharanpur caste clashes, Yogi said that there was involvement of BJP MP, and situation worsened only after BSP chief Mayawati visited the city.
