News24 journalist bags ENBA award for 'Best spot reporting'

New Delhi (News24 Bureau): When the national capital was facing degue crisis last year, News24 reporter Shivang Mathur raised the appalling state of facilities in government hospitals, which were groaning under shortage of emergency beds for patients.

Mr Mathur's detailed coverage on the issue impressed the exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards (ENBA) jury, which adjuged him winner in 'Best Spot Reporting' category. Outclassing several other reporters from top media organisations, Mr Mathur bagged the award and brought laurel to the company.

Aaj Tak's Ashwin Kumar for his story about terror attack at Raj Bagh police station, Manogya Loiwal (Nepal earthquake) and Zee Group's Ashutosh and Sharad Vyas (Petlawad Blast) were among other journalists, who were nominated in the category.
