NIA arrests terror suspects from Mumbra, Bangalore and Hyderabad

New Delhi: Ahead of the Republic Day celebrations in the country, National Investigation Agency (NIA) has detained a number of terror suspects from across the country.

NIA along with Maharashtra Anti Terror Squad (ATS) busted an ISIS module in Mumbra in Maharashtra.

According to reports, the premier investigation agency has arrested six suspects, four from Hyderabad and one person each from Mangalore and Tumkurru.

It has also arrested four suspects in Bengaluru.

Earlier this month, Delhi Police arrested a suspected Al-Qaeda member in Bengaluru. The alleged member of the terror outfit was identified as Maulana Anzar Shah and was working as a madrassa teacher in Bengaluru.

A total of fourteen ISIS sympathizers have been arrested by NIA from various parts of the country.
