Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh's mortal remains reach Delhi

The mortal remains of spiritual leader and Sant Nirankari Mission head Baba Hardev Singh, who died in a road accident in Canada on Friday, were brought to Delhi on Monday. The body of the spiritual leader was flown to national capital from Canada. His body was then kept in West Delhi`s Burari Road for the devotees to pay their last respects.

The Antim Darshan of Nirankari Baba will be webcast live and his last rites will be held on May 18 in Delhi.

"The Antim Yatra (last journey) will begin on Wednesday from Ground No 8 at 8 am and conclude at Nigam Bodh Ghat. Antim Sanskar (last rites) will take place at the CNG Crematorium at 12 noon," said mission official Kirpa Sagar in a release.

The mission has urged Nirankari Baba's followers all across the globe not to gather in New Delhi in order to avoid inconvenience.

According to details available on the Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj Community' on Facebook, Nirankari Baba was travelling from New York to Montreal in a car along with his two sons-in-law when the crash took place.

The Montreal Police have begun the investigation into the tragic accident to conclude what exactly caused the car crash.
