New Delhi: Milan Luthria who is best known as the director of the super hit films including 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai'and 'The Dirty Picture' is back with a new project, 'Baadshaho'.
The trailer of the film was released last month and had left the audience impressed with the star cast and dialogues. The trailer includes a backless shot and love making scene of Illena D'Cruz with Ajay Devgn which is a hot topic now. Director, Milan decided to shorten the 10-minute long love making scene and the major reason is the Censor Board.
Before forwarding the film to CBFC for certification, Milan opted to self-censor the movie as he doesn't want to land in any trouble. According to a leading daily, “The scene between Ileana and Ajay lasts if left as is, for 10 minutes. They are aesthetically shot and is crucial to the film’s plot. But Milan decided to shorten it, trimming the kisses and bareback shots. He didn’t want to attract the wrath of the Censors. The film is all-out commercial and he wants it to get a U/A certificate. The scene would have resulted in an A certificate.”
Talking about the film,'Baadhshao' is based on the backdrop of the Emergency period from 1975 to 1977. The movie features Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jamwal, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta, Sanjay Mishra and is set to hit the theaters on September 1, 2017.
