The government on Wednesday announced that it has decided to reduce the citizenship fees from current Rs 15000 to just Rs 100 for minority Hindus living in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Not only this, the centre has also decided to relax the conditions for granting visas to the minorities based in these countries.
According to Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, “We have allowed minorities from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh to make pan card, open bank accounts, make aadhar card and purchase property in India. Hindu minorities living in these countries will also be given the right to buy property in India.”
With this, the minority Hindus living in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan can easily fulfil their dream of relocating in India.
