New Delhi: Google in September last year had introduced “voice typing” feature for its Google Docs tool. Taking this feature a step forward, it is now allowing the users to use their voice to edit and format their documents online.
“To get started, select ‘Voice typing’ in the ‘Tools’ menu when you’re using Docs in Chrome. Say what comes to mind—then start editing and formatting with commands like ‘copy,’ ‘insert table,’ and ‘highlight’,” Google wrote in a blogpost.
The latest update includes commands for various processes including selection, alignment, text formatting, adding and editing tables etc.
