New Delhi, Jan 29: Despite the controversies and protests against the Sanjay Leela Bhansali magnum opus 'Padmaavat' has managed to break all the disturbance and the first three days box-office collections of its theatrical run are proof of that. Critics and audiences have applauded the performances of the leading actors Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and the fascinating visuals of the epic story.
According to Boxofficeindia.com, 'Padmaavat', stands tall so far at a total collection of Rs 80.50 crore net including paid previews. The film grossed Rs 27.50 Crores on Saturday.
The film, which started its box office journey by marking a striking collection of Rs 19 crore on its opening day, has managed to cross Rs 50 crore mark in just three days.
Not only that 'Padmaavat' set an all-time record in US/Canada on an opening day with a business of an estimated $ 1.20 mn.
The Indian film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted the Padmaavat collection of three days, captioned it as:
