Pak hand in Pathankot attack, US provides significant evidence

In a boost to India's probe against Pakistan hand in Pathankot attack, US handed over a 1000 page chatting conversation between Kashif Jaan and four fidayeen who were killed at Pathankot incident to the NIA.

The 1000 page chat evidence make it clear that all was micromanaged from Pakistan.

Four killed fidayeen were identified as Nasir Hussain, Abu Bakar, Umar Farooq and Abdul Qayum, were in regular touch with their operator, the report says.

The documents also provide evidence of the conversation of Kashif Jaan with other Pakistan-based JeM office-bearers.

The investigation reveals the chats of WhatsApp and facebook and other platforms.Jaan was using the facebook account that was connected with the same number which attackers called from Pathankot after abducting Punjab Police SP Salwinder Singh.

The accounts accessed by Jaan at the time of attack were using an IP address of Pakistan-based telecom

NIA approached US to provide details of the chats, which have been provided by the US through the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MULAT)
