New Delhi: Just hours after, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif promised to take action against terrorist groups who attacked the air base at Pathankot in Punjab, a report confirmed the active collaboration of the his military and ISI in the assault surfaced.
The Times of India has quoted highly-placed intelligence sources as saying that the terrorists had made dry runs at an air base in Pakistan before attacking the Pathankot air base.
It further states “the extensive training session at one of the Pakistani airbases included several dry runs of breaching the security perimeter: a lesson the terrorists put to lethal use when they managed to enter the Pathankot base.”
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday promised that Islamabad will take "prompt and decisive action" against the terrorists linked to the attack.
Reports claim that terrorists used the improvised versions of AK-47 assault rifles for attacking the air base.
