Pathankot terror attack: Working on "leads" shared by India, says Pakistan

New Delhi: Hours after National Security Adviser Ajit Doval shared that he has provided "leads" on the Pathankot Air Force base terror attack to his Pakistani counterpart Naseer Khan Janjua, the latter has claimed to stand by India.

"In line with Pakistan's commitment to effectively counter and eradicate terrorism, the government is in touch with the Indian government and is working on the leads provided by it," the statement released by Pakistani foreign office says.

"Living in the same region and with a common history, the two countries should remain committed to a sustained dialogue process," the statement says.

The assurance of action comes amid reports that India had decided to share the details of phone call records of terrorists along with the proof that they came from Pakistan.
