New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday will inaugurate the World Sufi Forum 2016 in New Delhi today.
The four-day event, which is being organized by All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board (AIUMB), will witness the participation of more than 200 Indian and international delegates from 20 countries.
The meeting is expected to debate on how Sufi teachings can prevent global violent terrorism. The conclave will also debate on how to guide the Muslim community away from sectarian division.
The Sufi Conference is expected to come out with a declaration against extremism and Wahabism in the last day of the event to be convened in the Ramlila Maidan.
