Prince William, Kate Middleton honour Mahatma Gandhi, war martyrs

New Delhi: On their first official visit to India, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton paid honours to Mahatma Gandhi and war martyrs here on Monday.

 

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Gandhi museum in Old Birla House — the location where the honoured “father of the nation” was assassinated in 1948 — to pay homage to the fighter that saw India free from the stranglehold of imperialism.
