Reliance Jio's new plan can actually save your Rs 3000 per year, details here

New Delhi, October 20: Reliance Jio has again surprised its rivals and fans by introducing a new prepaid recharge plan for a long-term validity of 1 year.

Earlier it was reported that Jio will not be launching any special recharge this festive season but the company took all by a surprise by launching a plan at Rs 1699.

Rs 1699 Plan

The Jio Rs 1699 plan will come with a whopping 547.5GB data with a daily FUP limit of 1.5 GB data per day, unlimited voice callls, 100 SMSs per day and free access to all Jio exclusive apps for a validity of 365 days.

If compared, BSNL's Rs 999 yearly plan offers 1GB data per day, 100 SMSs per day and free voice call for 181 days. In a total, the plan will offer 365 GB data for a year but free calling is restricted to just six months.

Both Vodafone and Airtel offer a monthly plan of Rs 199 in Delhi NCR circle offering 1.GB data per day, 100 free SMS per day and unlimited voice calls. If calculated, even this plan users at Rs 2388 which is Rs 689 more than Jio Rs 1699 plan.

If postpaid plans are concerned, Vodafone RED postpaid plan offers 40GB data per month with rollover benefits, unlimited voice calls, national roaming and other benefits like Amazon Prime and Vodafone Play, all for Rs 399. If calculated, this totals to 480GB data per year at Rs 4,788. If Jio's Rs 1699 plan is compared it saves Rs 3,100.

 Jio Diwali 100 percent cashback offer

Apart from the new prepaid plan, the company has also announced 100 percent cashback offer on all recharges above Rs 100. Jio users will get the cashback in terms of Jio digital coupons that will be shown in My Jio app.
