RSS Muslim outfit asks madrassas to hoist tricolour on R-Day

New Delhi: After a madrasa headmaster was beaten up by Maulanas for teaching national anthem to students in the Islamic school, RSS-affiliate Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) has taken up a nationwide campaign to convince madrassas across the country to hoist tricolour on R-Day.

According to reports, the Muslim outfit has written letters, requesting all madrasas to celebrate the Republic Day by hoisting the tricolour on January 26 in their campus.

Earlier this week, The headmaster, Kazi Masum Akhtar, was thrashed and has been banned from entering the premises of Talpukur Aara High Madrasa for teaching national anthem to his students.

Later, Akhtar was also denied any security cover from the Police, with an excuse that “his presence in the area might lead to communal tension”.
