San Bernardino attack: FBI unblocks gunman's iPhone without Apple's help

Washington: In a major breakthrough in San Bernardino attack, FBI has successfully hacked into the gunman Syed Rizwan Farook's iPhone without the help of the US phonemaker Apple. This ends the legal battle between Apple and the authorities, who asked Apple to help FBI to break into the gunman's phone. Earlier, a judge in California had ordered Apple on Tuesday to help the FBI break into the phone of San Bernardino shooter Syed . However, Apple had appealed to dismiss the court order, claiming that it's a violation of the Constitution.
