Prabhakar Mishra, New Delhi: The Supreme Court has agreed for urgent hearing of Ayodhya land dispute issue. The Apex Court agreed to list soon appeals relating to the dispute over ownership of 2.7 acre Babri Masjid-Ramjanambhoomi land.
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy sought urgent hearing of his petition, which has been tagged with the main dispute.
The SC bench of CJI J S Khehar and Justice D Y Chandrachud said "we are going to list the main matter soon. We will take a decision on it."
Issue has been pending since 2010 in SC after Allahabad HC divided the land equally between Ram Lalla, Nirmohi Akhara and Sunni Wakf Board.
