Sehwag to Pakistan: 'Daddy will defeat son on Father's Day'

New Delhi: Former proficient Indian cricket team player has taken the internet by his statements about victory of India from Bangladesh in the ICC Champions Trophy.

However, Virendra Sehwag got facetious on twitter with his witty tweet after India defeated Bangladesh with nine wickets in Edgbaston, where he wrote "“Well tried Pote. Great effort to reach semis.Ghar ki hi baat hai. Father’s Day par Bete ke saath final hai. Mazaak ko serious mat liyo bete. (Well tried grandson. Great effort to reach semis. It is a home affair. Final with son on Father’s Day. Don’t take the joke seriously, son)”.

Sehwag's post likely affected Rashid Latif, who busted out on the cricketer after India made its smooth win against Pakistan, on the same venue. Sehwag prolonged it by posting another tweet where he wrote “Pote ke baad Bete. Koi baat nahi Beta, Well tried ! Congratulations Bharat !#BaapBaapHotaHai #INDvPAK.”

Earlier, on Thursday, Bangla Tigers were put to batting first by Indian skipper Virat Kohli, after winning the toss. After sheer efforts, Bangladesh had put together 264/7 in 50 overs, where India proved itself again by making a renowned win with 265/1 in 40.1 overs.

Finally, India will be seen conquering the stadium at The Oval in London this Sunday, competing with Pakistan in the finals!
