New Delhi, Sep 26: In a bid to avoid Punjab and Haryana High Court, Honeypreet's lawyer Pradeep Kumar Arya on Tuesday claimed that Honeypreet owns a house in Delhi, and on this ground had filed anticipatory bail plea before the Delhi High Court that Honeypreet has a house in Delhi. Arya has sought three-week transit anticipatory bail for Honeypreet. Transit anticipatory bail plea protects the accused from being arrested during transit. Honeypreet's has moved court so that she is not arrested while going to Haryana from Delhi.
With the plea, a CCTV footage also surfaced. The video shows a burqa-clad woman walking with Honeypreet's lawyer. After the video went viral, speculations are rife that the woman in footage is none other than the absconding Honeypreet. The footage is from the CCTV camera installed at Honeypreet's lawyer's residence.
