Shubh Muhurat for Holika Dahan & How to do Holi Puja

New Delhi, Feb 28: Holi is the festival of colours. This year Holi will be celebrated on 2nd March and Holika would burn on 1st March. Preparations have started in the country with the market being colorful with all vibrant colors.

As per the religious beliefs, the king Hiranyakaship’s sister Holika died in the fire and the devotee Prahlad who was chanting did not even have a flame on him. This was the beginning of Holi. In order to celebrate the joy of devotee, Prahalad Holi is celebrated all around the country.

It is estimated that the auspicious time to burn Holika and to conduct pooja would be between 3 pm to 6.55 pm while the Holi with colours would be played on the 2nd March. This time on Holika Dahan there also will be a full moon.

People who are facing mental stress and financial pressure are suggested to take the Gomti Chakra around the Holika this would be a remedy wherein you will not have to face any such crisis for the next one year.
