New Delhi: Ever since the cowardly attack of Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri, the tension is palpable between both the neighboring states with people here wanting to take revenge by stopping water to Pakistan, a poll revealed.
In a poll survey conducted by News24, we asked our audience whether India should stop water to Pakistan? The answer, which turned out in huge numbers, suggested ‘Yes’ in about one-third voices of the India’s population.
74% people were positive about our question; 24% opted the second option ‘No’, whereas 2% were unsure about their choice.
Earlier today, at the meeting on Indus Waters Treaty Prime Minister, told officials that "blood and water couldn't flow together at the same time".
