Terror alert sounded in Delhi, Mumbai, Goa

Chandigarh: The Punjab Police has sounded terror alert in Delhi, Mumbai and Goa following reports of the alleged movement of three Pakistani terrorists and their handler from Jammu and Kashmir towards Delhi.

Punjab Police has issued an alert stating that a grey colored Swift Dezire with Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) registration number (JK-01 AB-2654), hauling three terrorists who can possibly be carrying even a suicide belt, may target Delhi, Mumbai and Goa.

The alert issued has directed the police stations to take all the necessary steps to ensure the security of vital installations, including police buildings, defence establishments, religious places, market areas, malls, railway stations and educational institutions. 

Meanwhile, Goa Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar on Wednesday said that security across popular tourism hubs in the state has been stepped up to ensure the safety of all including tourists.
