New Delhi: Where all the Bollywood actors are busy with their celebrations of Ganeshotsav, Rani Mukerji has been accused of illegal alteations on her Juhu Bungalow, KrishnaRam.
According to the reports, BMC will soon be visiting Rani's house with police on August 30th in order to turn down the ongoing construction illegally. A report by civic official stated "The K-west ward office got complaints from activists regarding alleged construction work being carried out illegally, in violation of the approved plans that were submitted to BMC's Building Proposal Department. On receiving the complaint, we issued a notice to the owner and paid a visit but were not allowed to inspect the premises,"
Prashant Gaikwad, the assistant civic commissioner of K-west ward, confirmed in a media confrontation and said "We issued a notice a week ago, under section 488 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, which allows BMC to enter a building or land for inspection."
Where, BMC records suggest that Rani was granted a commencement certificate to make additions and deductions to her bungalow in 2014 within validity till November 2015, activists, on the other hand, claim that the construction is ongoing at the premises regardless of the expired validity and that the height of the house violates plans approved by the authorities.
