Three Supertar Celebrites that made great TV Hosts!

 

There is a big difference between the viewership and craze between big screen and small screen debuts. The audience might be different for each, however, when big celebs decide to make their debuts from big to small screens - their personalities and enthusiasm for their craft garners them as much publicity and success! Here are three A-lsiters that came and conquered TV: 

*  Amitabh Bachchan:  The megastar managed to hit it back with a bang as a successful television host on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC), after some of his films bombed in late 90s and his production house ran into some financial woes. The popular adaptation of its English version started in the year 2000, giving every Indian household its much-needed daily dose of general knowledge. Amitabh Bachchan's husky baritone made an impressive début on small screen. AB managed to strike a chord with the masses and classes. 

* Salman Khan:  'Dabangg' actor Salman Khan is known for making his fans go down week in knees. The women love him for his charms and the men love him for his fearless personality. The actor made his small screen debut with '10 Ka Dum' in 2009. The format was based on its English version of 'Power of 10'. It wasnt just Dabangg, however, Sallu bhai didn't stop at that, he became synonymous with yet another reality show named 'Bigg Boss'. Although 'Bigg Boss' saw many hosts each year, it was Salman Khan who managed to successfully complete five seasons in a row. Salman's way of conducting the controversial reality show is loved by his fans and followers.

 

* Aamir Khan: Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is known for choosing unique scripts and venturing into different types of subjects - for the betterment of society. He extended that bit of his personality even on small screen. His 'Satyamev Jayate' stirred the conscious of every Indian, making them take notice of several evils prevalent in our society. The first season started on May 6, 2012. Aamir's attempt to raise his concern on issues such as female foeticide, child sexual abuse, rape, honour killings and the like made him one of the most loved celebrity on television.
