1) HTC U11, Launch Date: June 17
HTC U11 is set to launch in India on June 16, it is the third smartphone in the ‘U’ series of the company. The major highlight of the U11 is the Edge Sense which allows users to open applications and the camera can be done by squeezing the U11.With its specifications, it automatically competes with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8 and even the iPhone 7.
HTC U11 will sport a 5.5-inch Super LCD WQHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.Powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The smartphone will come in 2 variants in terms of RAM and storage – 4GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM. In both, the variants internal storage can be expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.For photography, HTC U 11 features a 12MP rear camera with dual-LED flash which is capable of slow-motion and 4K video recording. For selfie and Facebook live lovers the smartphone has a 16MP front camera with BSI sensor, live make-up, voice selfie and Panorama. HTC U11 is backed by a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
2) Moto C Plus, Launch Date: June 19
Lenovo-owned Moto is set to launch Moto C Plus Android smartphone in India on June 19.
The Moto C Plus features a 5-inch display, powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable via a microSD up to 32GB
For Photography, the Moto C Plus sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, 71-degree field of view and a LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh battery and weighs 162 grams.
3) OnePlus 5, Launch Date: June 22
OnePlus is set to officially launch OnePlus 5 in India on June 22.
Rumours suggest the OnePlus 5 will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. OnePlus 5 is said to come in two variants, first 64GB storage and 6GB RAM and another model with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM priced at Rs 32,999 and Rs. 37,999 respectively. OnePlus 5 is said to sport a 23 MP rear camera and a 16 MP camera at the front for selfies.
4) Moto Z2, Launch Date: June 27
The flagship Moto Z2 is also set to launch on June 27. The major highlight of the Moto Z2 Play is its Moto Mods support.
Moto Z2 play will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 4GB RAM. Moto Z2 play will have 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 2TB.
For photography, Moto Z2 Play will sport a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front, with a wide-angle lens, and a dual-LED CCT flash.
The smartphone will run on Android 7 Nougat OS and will be backed by a 3000mAh battery
5) Honor 8 Pro, Launch Date: Early July
Huawei will bring in its next 4th generation dual camera technology in the Honor 8 Pro. The device is expected to launch in the first week of July in India.
Honor 8 Pro will feature Kirin 655 octa-core chipset paired with 4GB RAM+64GB ROM, the smartphone will sport 5.2-inch full-HD display and will run on EMUI 5.0 on top of Android Nougat.
