New Delhi: India's top rated reality show 'Big Boss' will soon make a splash on the small screen with a major twist. This year, the makers of the show have planned to add regular people to the show alongside celebrities.
One such person the show has approached is 'Trupti Desai', an activist for gender equality, to be a contestant. Desai is the founder of 'Bhumata Brigade', an organisation that works for women's rights.
She had made headlines for running campaigns to fight for women's rights to enter religious places like Shani Shingnapur Temple and the Haji Ali Dargah.
Her selection is based on the fact that the makers of the show want a strong female voice to combat all the muscle-pumping masculine power that would for sure be available to watch. The show, once again, will be hosted by the much celebrated Salman Khan for the seventh year in a row.
