Uri fallout: Border Intelligence posts being armed

Bikaner (Rajasthan): After the Uri attack, the Narendra Modi government is going all out to strengthen the intelligence gathering mechanism along the Pakistan border. The closed border intelligence posts are being reopened, while the existing ones are being upgraded with latest equipment and arms.
Under the plan, some new posts are being opened to stop smuggling of arms and drugs. Some posts are being fenced and equipped with mortars and AK-47s. Intelligence sources in Rajasthan say that the drug money is being used to fund terrorists. They also point out that the arms reaching Rajasthan from Pakistan find their way to the Kashmir Valley.
