Video: Mumbai Blast: Why Salem not awarded DEATH?

New Delhi, Sep 7: TADA court sentenced convict Abu Salem to life imprisonment. This was expected as death sentence could not be given to him because Abu Salem has been extradited from Portugal.Portugal doesn't’t have death sentence. So obviously the court cannot give him death sentence because of the extradition treaty.
