New Delhi: Virat Kohli has done it again. Breaking records for the Indian captain is like have daily breakfast. And yet again, he has broken a Sachin Tendulkar record enroute to his 17th Test century. His innings of 103 not out in the Galle Test against Sri Lanka was Kohli's 10th century as captain.
Virat has now the fastest Indian captain in terms of scoring 1000 runs in Tests abroad. Kohli just took 17 innings to score 1000 Test runs in away Tests, whicle Scahin had achieved the feat in 19 innings. Only G Sobers (13 innings), A Cook (14 innings) and Bob Simpson (16 innings) have done it faster than Kohli.
Now, Kohli is all set to break Sunil Gavasker's record of 11 centuries as captain. With his 17th century, Kohli now has 10 centuries as captain.
