WATCH..Rahul dances with poor Gujaratis, tears into Modi

New Delhi, Oct 10: While the top BJP leaders attacked him on Tuesday, Congress Vice-President was bonding with the common man in Gujarat. Rahul is trying to exploit the anti-BJP sentiments among the dalits, Patel community and the farmers. He took the pain to explain how the Narendra Modi government was pro-rich and anti-farmer and anti-women. Launching a scathing attack on government, he said that PM has failed to create jobs.

While interacting with students, Rahul said that Make in India and Start up India have failed to create jobs. “You people enjoy taking selfies. But when you do so, the jobs are generated in China and not in India. The Modi government has no focus on generating new jobs," said an aggresive Rahul.

Attacking BJP-RSS for paying lip sevice to women empowerment, he said,  “Have you seen any woman in shorts at the RSS shakhas? That shows their mindset. Their claims of women empowerment are hollow. The moment women tries to raise voice, it has been suppressed.”

The Congress Vice-President, however, accepted that the humiliating defeat in 2014 has taught Congress a number of lessons. "The BJP helped me a lot. They have really helped me. We lost 2014 but the defeat could not have helped us more. Itni buri tarah haraya ki pit pitkar humein akal aagayi (They beat us so badly in 2014 that it drilled sense into us),"  Rahul said in Vadodara

To relate with the common man and tribals, Rahul also took part in 'Timli' dance during his visit to Chhota Udaipur district.
