Wedding Details of Prince Harry and his Princess Bride Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement just a few weeks ago, and are already deep into wedding planning.

Here are some of the wedding details:

WHEN: May 19, 2018.  The royals seems to be keen on spring weddings as elder brother Prince William wed Kate Middleton on April 29, 2011. They are also due for the birth of their third child in the spring. Reportedly a month before the wedding.

WHERE: St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.  “Windsor is a very special place for Prince Harry, and he and Ms. Markle have regularly spent time there during the last year,” Kensington Palace spokesman Jason Knauf previously said. “They are delighted that the beautiful grounds of Windsor Castle will be where they begin their lives as a married couple.”

St. George’s Chapel dates back more than 500 years, and has been the site of many royal weddings, including the children of Queen Victoria.  The most recent royals to be married at the chapel were Harry’s father, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall in 2005.

OFFICIATED BY: It currently remains unclear if the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby — the most senior bishop in the Church of England — will officiate the wedding. Meghan will be baptized in the church ahead of the nuptials, though.
