Who KILLED Aarushi Talwar..Here's TIMELINE of Aarushi Murder

Lucknow, Oct 12: The Allahabad High Court on Thursday acquitted the Talwar couple, Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar, in the 2008 murder case of their daughter Aarushi and their domestic help Hemraj, giving them the benefit of doubt. Both Rajesh and Nupur are dentist by profession.

Here is the timeline:

May 16, 2008: Aarushi Talwar's body with her throat slit in the bedroom of her Noida home. Domestic help Hemraj of Nepalese  origin was the main suspect.

May 17: Body of Hemraj found on the terrace of the Talwar house.

May 18: Police said that both murdered with surgical precision, insider job suspected.

May 23: Father Rajesh Talwar arrested for double murder

May 31: CBI takes over case.

June 13: Rajesh Talwar's compounder Krishna arrested by the CBI. After 10 days, Raj Kumar, the servant of a doctor friend of the Talwars, and Vijay Mandal, the domestic help of Talwars' neighbour, arrested   July 12: Rajesh gets bail from Ghaziabad court

Jan 5, 2010: CBI moves court for narco test of Talwar couple.

Dec 29:  CBI files closure report, stating that Rajesh is the main suspect, but there is not enough evidence against him.

Jan 25, 2011: Rajesh attacked in Ghaziabad court.

Feb 9: A special Ghaziabad court rejects CBI's closure report, orders trial of Rajesh and Nupur Talwar for Aarushi's murder. The couple also charged with destruction of evidence. 

March 14, 2012: CBI  wants cancellation of Rajesh Talwar's bail.

April 30: Nupur Talwar arrested.

May 3: Sessions court rejects Nupur Talwar's bail plea.

May 25: Ghaziabad court convicts Rajesh and Nupur on murder charges, destruction of evidence and conspiracy.

September 25: Nupur released on bail on the SC order

April 2013: Talwars killed Aarushi and Hemraj, CBI officer tells court. CBI also says that Aarushi and Hemraj were found in an objectionable, compromising position.

October 18: CBI arguments over. Agency says Talwars "misled" investigators.

November 12: Court reserves verdict.

November 25: Court convicts Talwars

November 26: Rajesh and Nupur Talwar get life term
