New Delhi: 'Jagga Jasoos' actor seems to be blessed with Rs6000 recently at the director, Imtiaz Ali's birthday party this year.
After some witty public wrangling by Ranbir Kapoor claiming a cash pize of Rs 5,000 for naming Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, 'Jab Harry Met Sejal', SRK called it off on Twitter by denying paying up and stating it unreal.
However, later at Imtiaz Ali's birthday bash, 'King Khan' of B-town seemed to be easy on Ranbir, and paid off extra Rs 1,000 to Ranbir Kapoor, giving out Rs6000 as his reward.
The young actor, Ranbir was thrilled by this act by SRK and said "I got Rs. 6,000 - it's something I value. I don't think I'll spend it. I'll probably give this to my grandchildren saying 'I got this from Shah Rukh Khan'."
Another filmmaker was seen beeing a part of this reward. As per the reports, Karan Johar was entitled to a little less than half of the reward for suggesting 'Jab' instead of 'When' in the title but Ranbir restrained and said "I think it's just very unfair that he's asking for credit here. He just changed 'when' to 'jab'. I don't think there's a big contribution to that."
SRK also tweeted a photo giving Ranbir his reward of Rs6000, calling it a 'hisaab barabar' with the Jagga Jasoos.
