New Delhi, May 1: It is just a week back the Chinese smartphone Xiaomi launched Mi 6X aka Mi A2 and now it looks that the company is ready to bring yet another device. As per the recent poster shared on Chinese microblogging website Weibo the company might launch Mi 6's successor which is rumoured and speculated from long back as Mi 7. The poster has also revealed the launch date on May 23 for the new smartphone.
The Chinese smartphone maker is yet to reveal anything about the upcoming smartphone but as per rumours in the media suggest that the new smartphone feature a 5.65-inches display with a Full HD+ resolution, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with an 8GB RAM. The new rumours that have surfaced online recently suggest that Mi 7 could also an in-display fingerprint sensor and an iPhone X like notch display.
On the photography front, the Mi 7 could have 16MP dual camera setup on the back.
The smartphone will be backed by a 4,000 mAh battery and may also feature 3D facial recognition and wireless charging support.
