YouTube Go: Share videos without using data!

New Delhi: Good news for video junkies. Google has launched an offline video sharing App, YouTube Go, in India. This app works effectively in areas where the net connectivity is poor. It also allows you to know how much data a particular download will consume. YouTube Go gives you the facility of saving videos for offline viewing. The icing on the cake is that you can share videos with friends nearby without using any data.

YouTube product management VP Johanna Wright said, "YouTube Go was designed and built from the ground up with insights from India, in order to bring the power of video to mobile users in a way that is more conscious of their data and connectivity, while still being locally relevant and social".

The formal launch date of the App is not clear, for now you can sign up to test YouTube Go.
